Dr Terence Vardy – D.O. N.D. Diploma of Musculoskeletal Medicine, Master of Applied Science, PhD student Neuroscience.

Dr Vardy is the owner and principal inventor behind CBS. Dr. Vardy’s career has included working with the United States Department of Defense, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), NASA and the United States Army in Iraq and Afghanistan

(Rapid Equipping Force – REF and Joint Improvised Explosive Defeat Organisation – JIEDDO). Currently he is on staff at the Division of Neurosurgery, Department of Clinical Neurosciences, Addenbrookes Hospital, UK and in clinical practice in Australia.

Dr. Vardy’s main areas of research and clinical application are concussion management, neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, Dementia and Multiple Sclerosis, Risk of Fall in the elderly, Neurosurgery and Rehabilitation Medicine. He is well known as an international speaker on these topics. Dr. Vardy has developed and patented many medical devices in these areas.

 

Dr Vardy has researched and directed numerous medical device projects in diverse areas such as range of motion measurement, biometric identification, rehabilitation, exercise, balance, replicating human touch, fine motor control, covert identification, body and brain fluid dynamics, and secure transmission of electronic medical data.

The Composite Balance Score is a direct result of his innovative, evidence-based research and his unshakeable desire to make a difference.

 

 

Rob Gilliland

Rob is the Technical Director and System Architect for CBS. Rob has an extensive history in the technical divisions of electrical, communications and computer companies before moving into the programming and server administration side of the industry.

Rob has been working in collaboration with Dr Vardy since 2003, playing an integral role in the research, development and product functioning of the CBS system.

Ryan Wolski

Ryan is an Australian based Senior Software Engineer who has worked closely with Rob Gilliland and developed custom biomedical applications on the Windows OS for CBS. An integral part of the team since 2009, Ryan has completed an Honour’s Degree in B.M.M.

Sarah Vardy

Sarah has over fifteen years’ practical experience in the IT sector and is responsible for the US based operations of the organisation.

Sarah has extensive experience in technical development and consulting, software engineering, web development, mobile app development (iOS), graphic design, animation, strategic planning, operations and project management. Her abiding passions are built around psychology, neurology and biofeedback with applications in computer science.

Sarah has completed two Bachelor degrees, a Masters and an Honours degree and is also a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

Lea Brims

As long-term Australian Office Manager, Lea takes responsibility for the management of company accounts, staff payroll and general administrative tasks.

Megan Dillard (USA)

Administration and Logistics – Megan has been with CBS for a number of years, ensuring that our US clients expectations are met or exceeded every day. Megan’s can-do attitude ensures that all of the little details are attended to, so that the implementation of a CBS system is efficient and professional.

Khara Marable (USA)

Compliance Documentation, Training and Customer Support – Khara is another long time US employee of CBS and is passionate about the company and ensuring that our clients get maximum outcomes from the system. Kharla travels the country training our clients and their teams, as well as organizing regular online sessions for more immediate installations.
